Escape to a Greek paradise in this beautiful bioclimatic house built into the volcanic rock on Santorini! Situated in the old part of Oia, it is the ideal accommodation for a vacation of tranquility & recreation. It is the best choice for a romantic get away. Its sculpted rock architecture is unique and it has been beautifully decorated with inspiration and care by its owner, Maria, a Greek sculptor & painter. The villa is 25 steps away from the main pedestrian road and 1-2 min walking distance from shops, restaurants, galleries, bus & taxi terminal. There is a free parking place 2-3 minutes walking distance from the GREEK PARADISE Cave House. It is 3 min walking distance from the Cafe Bar Swimming Pool 'LIOYERMA' and 7 min drive from the beaches. The villa has a master bedroom and a living room with a double bed and one single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a private shower-room & a veranda with panoramic view to the Caldera. You will enjoy your breakfast/dinner at the romantic private veranda with panoramic view to the sea, the cities of Imerovigli, Firostefani, Fira and “Athinios” port on the edge of the Caldera, the volcano and the islands of Palia and Nea Kammeni. At home, in the living room, there is a mini bar with bottles of homemade drinks next to one of the single beds. Please, feel free to treat yourself with welcoming drinks. In the little cupboard of the minibar there are some pharmacy aids. The Villa does have a washer/dryer machine that can wash up to 12 kilos at a time. If you are interested in using the machine please let me know and I will inform the caretaker. You can use it once for free. There is TV, wi fi and telephone in the house (You can only receive phone calls or call only in Santorini for free). Please Notice: Hot tub not available from November to February. Blue & White Cave House
Featuring a terrace with Caldera Sea views, this white washed cave house features a Cycladic architecture. There is one master bedroom with a double bed with a canopy. In the living area there are two traditional style built in twin beds for lounging or for extra guests. There is additionally a small adjacent room to the master bedroom. There is an indoor tiled bathroom with a shower and a second outdoor bathroom with a shower as well. The fully equipped kitchen faces the beautiful Aegean sea. Pink Cave House
This listing is perfect for large family gatherings or a larger group of friends. It offers equally privacy and common areas. Featuring a 3 level terrace with Caldera Sea views, this romantic Pink cave house features a Cycladic architecture and comes with tradiotional built-in double beds, sofa beds, sunbeds, a satellite, flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchenette. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The Pink villa has 3 bedrooms with traditional style or built in double beds. One bedroom has a separate entrance from the rest of the house and it is on a different level. There is also a big living room with a dinning area, a separate kitchen, a bathroom and a large patio in three levels overlooking the caldera, the volcano and the little island with the tiny St Nicolas sparkling white church. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a private shower-room. The PINK Cave House has a a private outdoor hot tub and a private outdoor shower surrounded by plants and flowers! This traditional cave house offers panoramic view to one of the most attractive sunsets in Greece. It is in the heart of Oia. Very close to the center and away from all the hustle and bustle of the main street. We waited 2 days and wish we had sooner. So much to see that?s only accessible by car. Her friend at Sunbird rental will give you a great rate. Now for the cave house: clean but dated. Shower is open on one side so be prepared for water all over flor if not careful. Can?t leave hot water heater on long b/c it will leak from under sink. Otherwise great value at 310E. I was looking for a typical cave house with a view and most important, not too difficult to access as my 82 year old father was travelling with me. Maria's Cave House matched all my requirements and when we arrived we were not disappointed. The view was breathtaking, the house itself was bright, welcoming, clean and the kitchen well stocked. Throughout the entire process Maria was very helpful and always responded to all my queries without delay. She, Stravos and Konstantina are a great team and made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. She sent us a lot of information before we arrived and also gave us a lot of information while we were there. We were invited to view the sunset from her private terrace which was wonderful as the entire place was teeming with tourists however we could sit and relax. Stravos was very helpful, he met us on arrival to help with our luggage and showed us round to different places in Oia recommended by Maria and Konstatina kept the apartment spotless. We were there in July and it was particularly hot, but the house was nice and cool and it was a treat that we could sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and have the magnificent views in front of us. Our stay was a treat especially for my father, an architect as he was able to get a close up look at the houses perched on the edge of the caldera and amazing caldera views right from our front door. My husband and I visited with our 3 daughters (21, 18, and 13) and 1 family friend (18) and we had more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The house was well represented in the photos. We definitely recommend the Pink House to anyone who is able to traverse several stone steps as the house is down below the main street of Oia. | 5 |

When we arrived, we were greeted with some groceries (enough for the next morning's breakfast) and some fresh fruit. A very nice touch! The couple who did cleaning and maintenance was also wonderful! I would recommend staying here but if you are American, you will miss some of our conveniences...just a warning. Toilet paper cannot be flushed due to very old infrastructure, I imagine. Hot water has to be turned on and off at fuse box...again due to old infrastructure. There is a washing machine but one wash cycle takes over 2 hours. On the plus side again, the hot tub was great! The view was spectacular!! The bed was extremely comfortable! Santorini is a lovely place...Greek people were so nice! And as I said, Maria will do anything she can to make your stay enjoyable...she is a gem and we thought she was great as well as the couple who cleaned and maintained our cave house!
